The union Verdi attempted to increase the pressure in the labor dispute with the online retailer Amazon. The union has called at four locations in Germany to re-strike. The first was the largest German site in osthessischen Bad Hersfeld.
In Amazon in Bad Hersfeld employees have resigned their work again. “The strike has started the night shift,” said Mechthild Middeke of Verdi Hesse. In Leipzig were Amazon workers on strike.
